FIRST COMMUNION

FIRST COMMUNION
For Children: Preparation for First Communion is a special, intense program that begins for second graders after they receive First Reconciliation, which both public and Catholic schools attend from Sept-April.. First Communion is received at a special Mass allowing family and friends to join the celebration. St Peter’s families in both the Religious Education Program and Saint Alberts School celebrate reception of the sacraments jointly. Students must have completed first grade religious education or been enrolled in a Catholic school. These Sacraments require two years of preparation; therefore, first grade attendance is mandatory to receive First Reconciliation and First Communion in second grade. The Diocese requires two years of Religious Education. Contact Heather Olson, DRE at 712-318-3030 or holson76@gmail.com.

If you are interested in joining the Catholic Church or would like more information contact the parish office at 712-318-3030.
