Community Wide Thanksgiving DInner

The Community Wide Thanksgiving Dinner is collectively provided by local churches and organizations for many in the community who, for one reason or another, need assistance to celebrate the holiday. On Thanksgiving Day, volunteers will be making and delivering over 800 meals in the Council Bluffs community.

Donations and volunteers are greatly needed to make this a success. All donated items and monetary gifts will be picked up every weekend from October 17-18 through November 14/15.

In need of the following items:

Cans of Cream of Mushroom Soup, Boxes of Stove-Top Stuffing, French Fried Onions and Canned Green Beans, Chicken Broth, Turkey Roasting Bags, Bouillon Cubes, and Coffee can be dropped off in the marked containers in both entrance of the church.

Gift checks should be made to St. Patrick Church with the memo of “City-wide Thanksgiving Dinner” and delivered to the Parish Office.

Volunteers are needed to deliver meals, help prepare the meal, and create the environment. We could really use your help volunteering to help with the following preparations:

• Set up on Wednesday, November 25
• Filling and delivering orders on Thursday, November 26
